Welcome to our CrossFit for kids classes – where fun meets fitness! Our program is designed to help children build strength, coordination, and confidence through dynamic, age-appropriate workouts. With CrossFit’s emphasis on functional movement and varied activities, kids will improve their physical health while developing teamwork, focus, and a love for being active. 

What to expect

Our kids’ classes adopt a simple yet effective format to foster comprehensive fitness development in children.

We begin with stretching and warm-up games to prepare their bodies.

Next, we delve into specific movement development, including the squat, deadlift, pressing, and pulling exercises.

Finally, we conclude with a short workout that incorporates the movements we’ve learned.

Do you use weights?

Yes! Learning to correctly lift and move appropriate weights at a young age is very beneficial for healthy, physical and mental growth. I’m We teach technique and skill before adding load. It’s not only safe but done regularly kids develop lifelong skills and habits that prevent injuries.

What age group is CrossFit Kids suitable for?

At CrossFit Brit, our CrossFit Kids classes are designed for children ages 8-18. We have age-specific programming to ensure each child is participating in workouts that are safe, fun, and developmentally appropriate. Whether they’re just starting or already active, we meet them where they are and help them grow!

Is CrossFit Kids safe for my child?

Absolutely! Safety is our top priority. Our coaches are highly trained to guide children through exercises that focus on proper technique, injury prevention, and age-appropriate movements. We emphasize body awareness and ensure that every child works at their own pace, making the experience both safe and enjoyable.

What will my child learn in CrossFit Kids?

In CrossFit Kids, your child will develop a variety of skills, including strength, coordination, balance, flexibility, and endurance. They’ll also learn the importance of teamwork, discipline, and perseverance. Our classes encourage growth both physically and mentally, fostering a positive attitude toward fitness that can last a lifetime.

Do I need to buy special equipment or gear for my child?

No special equipment is required! Comfortable athletic clothing and supportive shoes are all your child needs to get started. We provide all the necessary equipment for the workouts, such as kettlebells, jump ropes, and medicine balls, ensuring a safe and fun experience each class.

CrossFit classes are my favorite part of my day. I have been doing CrossFit for 5 years now and have learned so much from the amazing coaches. It helps me with other sports and also with my academics, because my brain is so fresh after a workout!
